Mariana Hard is an LPC-A who has an MA in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College and an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University. She speaks English and Spanish with 10+ years experience working extensively with individuals from all walks of life, including varying sexualities, age groups, socioeconomic backgrounds, races, genders, ethnicities and cultures. She has treated clients with a wide variety of mental health needs, from mild to severe and persistent mental illness.
She utilizes a psychodynamic and family systems informed approach to therapy work as well as using structured and experiential therapies such as CBT, DBT, play and art therapy techniques to provide a focused and proactive aspect to the counseling process.
