Lisa is a clinician and supervisor with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University. She supports clients of all ages and their families using the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) framework and integrates trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and expressive art therapy interventions to foster healing and emotional growth.
In her innovative approach, Lisa created a therapeutic Dungeons & Dragons group for adolescents, which builds communication, emotional regulation, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and social skills. She is also a current student of Somatic Experiencing, a body-based modality aimed at restoring balance to the nervous system following stress, trauma, or shock.
Lisa’s clinical expertise spans complex trauma, racial trauma, intergenerational trauma, and child abuse. As a Master Trainer for Complex Trauma trainings across Connecticut—grant-funded by the Foundation Trust, Adelphi University, and NCTSN—she empowers caregivers and healthcare providers with sustainable tools to support trauma recovery.
Whether working with clients or training professionals, Lisa brings a deep commitment to healing, hope, and empowerment throughout the therapeutic process.
