Natalie Shoemaker, LCSW

Meet Natalie, a compassionate clinical social worker dedicated to guiding clients on their unique paths to healing. With a Master of Social Work from Smith College, she brings years of experience supporting diverse and marginalized populations through collaboration and empowerment. Specializing in grief, trauma, anxiety, LGBTQIA+ issues, and more, Natalie believes in personalized interventions tailored to each individual’s needs. Drawing from a blend of therapeutic modalities including psychodynamic, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Imago work, and Multidimensional Family Therapy, Natalie fosters warmth, support, and curiosity as she helps clients navigate challenges and co-construct actionable plans for growth. Her approach emphasizes collaboration, openness, and empowerment, creating a safe space for clients to explore their goals and overcome obstacles. Whether working with individuals, couples, youths, or families, Natalie’s strengths-based family systems model provides a foundation for positive change and improved mental health. Outside of her work, Natalie finds joy in the outdoors, gaming, and spending time with her beloved parrot companion, Sugar.
